Biography
The 26 year old mezzo soprano grew up in a musical family and studied choral conducting after graduating from high school. She began her vocal studies in Leipzig and completed them this year in Mainz in the class of Prof. Claudia Eder. A formative experience was meeting the Kuijken family of musicians during the "La petite Bande summer academy" in 2018. An intense collaboration followed, especially through the joint heart project "Stranded Women" centered on the Haydn solo cantata "Arianna a Naxos". In 2019 Johanna was part of the excellence program "Barock Vokal" at the Musikhochschule Mainz and participated in numerous concerts including during the "International Guitarfestival Koblenz" and the "Festival Barocco" in Rome.
