The young German mezzo-soprano Katharina Bierweiler (*2004) began her pre-college at the age of 17 at the Karlsruhe University of Music, where she enrolled in the vocal performance degree (B.M.) in April 2023 developing her vocal talent under the guidance of Prof. Christiane Libor and Stephan Klemm. Katharina began her musical education with the renowned children's choir Cantus Juvenum Karlsruhe. As a member of the choir, she participated in numerous opera projects in the children's choir at the Badischen Staatstheater Karlsruhe (the State Theatre of Baden) and the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden from a young age, as well as in CD recordings and concerts.
