Maren Bosma

Dutch-American violinist Maren Bosma (1996) started her violin studies at age 7. From a young age she performed as a member of various youth orchestras, such as the Netherlands Youth String Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands. She was accepted into the Sweelinck Academy in Amsterdam in 2011 in the class of Lex Korff de Gidts, with whom she continued her studies and received her Bachelor’s degree in June 2017 from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, with a minor in Theory of Music. She received her Master of Music in Performance degree with Distinction in 2019 from the Royal College of Music in London, under the tutelage of Daniel Rowland and Gabrielle Lester.
