Biography
Paweł Konik is a baritone born in Cieszyn/Poland. Since artistic season 2018/19 Paweł Konik is soloist at the Staatsoper Stuttgart. During season 2023/24 Paweł makes his role debut as Orest in Elektra which he will performe at Staatsoper Stuttgart, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and Philharmonie Köln. With new production of Die Frau ohne Schatten by Strauss will bring debut as Der Einäugige. Paweł Konik as well returns to his praised creations as Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff and Donner in Wagner’s Das Rheingold. His further operatic repertoire includes such roles as Harlekin from Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos, Faninal in Strauss’s masterpiece Der Rosenkavalier, Albert in Massenet’s Werther, Sam in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Guglielmo and Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, title roles in D
