The Krakow Opera artists once again join the efforts to spread awareness about autism. The success of the "Unusual neighbors" campaign, created and sung together with the Autyzm Up Foundation, resulted in an even larger musical project: the charity concert "In the spectrum of music". Taking up the topic of autism makes it less and less strange, and people are no longer indifferent to it. Aware of this fact, the artists and employees of the Krakow Opera are eagerly involved in the project. As emphasized by Marek Gerwatowski - Krakow Opera Artist and initiator of the event - thanks to such initiatives, a space for understanding and acceptance is created.

13-year-old Szymon Prokop, a singer, winner of, among others, the Autyzm Up Foundation, was invited to participate in the concert. the title of "stage personality" during the "Integration Painted with Sound" Festival and the winner of the Magic Song Festival 2021. Once again, a person in the autism spectrum will show that he does not have to live in the patterns imposed on him. This time, stereotypes about autism will be broken straight from the opera scene.

The concert will be tailored to the needs of people on the autism spectrum. A participant who expresses such a need will receive individual volunteer care. There will also be mute headphones and isolated places in the box.

All the artists and people who got involved in the concert declared pro bono participation, and the entire proceeds from the concert, which will take place as part of the International Autism Awareness Month, will be allocated to the activities of the Autism Up Foundation.

The concert will feature the most beautiful fragments of the world's opera repertoire - incl. the famous Habanera or Song Toreador from "Carmen" by G. Bizet, "Casta diva" from "Norma" by V. Bellini, the duet of Countess and Susanna from "The Marriage of Figaro", "La ci darem la mano" from "Don Giovanni" by WA Mozart and many other.

The honorary patronage over the concert was assumed by the Mayor of the City of Krakow, Jacek Majchrowski.
