Il Dono della Vita eterna, oratorio al santo sepolcro (1686) d’Antonio Draghi

Depuis le succès inattendu du Diluvio Universale, on ne compte plus les chefs-d’oeuvre sortis de l’oubli grâce au formidable instinct musical de Leonardo García Alarcón. Après avoir redonné vie à son opéra El Prometeo en 2018, il continue ici d’explorer l’oeuvre du compositeur viennois Antonio Draghi (1635-1700). Au menu cette fois-ci, un "Sepolcro", oratorio typiquement viennois mettant en scène le combat entre les forces du Ciel et de la Terre pour le salut de l’humanité. Choeur, orchestre et une distribution soliste de premier plan (Mariana Flores, Victor Sicard...) accompagnent le chef argentin dans cette nouvelle aventure.

Since the unexpected success of Diluvio Universale , countless masterpieces have been brought out of oblivion thanks to the formidable musical instinct of Leonardo García Alarcón. After bringing his opera El Prometeo back to life in 2018, he continues here to explore the work of the Viennese composer Antonio Draghi (1635-1700). On the menu this time, a "Sepolcro", a typically Viennese oratorio depicting the fight between the forces of Heaven and Earth for the salvation of humanity. Choir, orchestra and a leading solo cast (Mariana Flores, Victor Sicard...) accompany the Argentinian conductor in this new adventure.
