Łucja of Lammermoor : the newest premiere of the Wrocław Opera is a meeting with musical romanticism. The famous work of Gaetano Donizetti, the Italian master of melodic operas, both serious and comic. In this case - a moving musical tragedy based on the motifs of Walter Scott's novel The Bride of Lammermoor . The romantic emotionality, great emotions of the heroes, with family and political intrigue in the background, will take viewers to Scotland at the end of the 16th century. Arias and duets captivating with the beauty of melodies, the classic and tragic at the same time love triangle from the premiere of the piece in 1835 in Naples, moved successive generations of fans of Italian opera. Donizetti turned out to be a worthy successor to the great Rossini, conquering not only his homeland, but also the Paris scenes. Lucy of Lammermoorit guides the viewer from an idyllic love mood and a promise of happiness to an unexpected, tragic ending.

Łucja z Lammermooru: najnowsza premiera Opery Wrocławskiej to spotkanie z muzycznym romantyzmem. Sławne dzieło Gaetana Donizettiego, włoskiego mistrza melodyjnych oper, zarówno poważnych, jak też komicznych. W tym przypadku - poruszająca muzyczna tragedia, osnuta na motywach powieści Waltera Scotta Narzeczona z Lammermooru.
