At the age of fourteen, Fatma Said began her musical journey that would take her from her hometown of Cairo to the opera studio at La Scala in Milan, the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists and ultimately to the world's most prestigious concert and opera stages. She thrilled audiences as Pamina in The Magic Flute at La Scala in Milan and shone as the flirtatious Nannetta in Verdi's Falstaff. For her debut album “El Nour” (The Light), Fatma Said was awarded the “Opus Klassik” as a young artist in the singing category. The repertoire diversity of this album, which combines songs by composers such as Ravel, de Falla and Bizet with Arabic works, makes us eagerly await their concert hall debut.
