Robert Macfarlane

Having performed internationally in Opera (Opera de Lyon, Berlin, Graz, Leipzig, Opera Queensland, West Australian Opera, State Opera of South Australia) and concert (Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Thomaskirche Leipzig, Chapelle Royale Versailles, Sydney Opera House), Robert Macfarlane ranks as one of the most promising young tenors. In a repertoire that spans from Monteverdi's Orfeo (Australian Brandenburg Orchestra), the Evangelist of Bach's Matthew Passion (Sydney Opera House) to the character roles of Romantic Opera, to the present day, Robert has been praised for his "Blissful, Clarion top" (Sydney Morning Herald)  and his "remarkable capacity for mastering works that would daunt most singers" (The Advertiser).
