Biografia: Cornelius Lewenberg was born in Stuttgart (Germany) and studied with Prof. Röhlig at the University of Music in Karlsruhe. He worked also with Prof Hartmut Höll and Prof. Mitsuko Shirai for the song repertoire, and with Prof. Julia Varady an Markus Eiche. In 2012 he sang 2. Bursche in „Der Mond“ by Carl Orff and El Cimarron in „El Cimarron“ by Henze. 2013 he sang at the Staatsoper Darmstadt the 5th Voice in „Jakob Lenz“ by Wolfgang Rihm and was Starveling in „A midsummernight's dream“ by Britten in England. In 2014 he appeared also at the Fontane-Festival Neuruppin and at the Rossini-Festival Bad Wildbad, where he sang Antonio in „Il viaggio a Reims“ and Ernesto in „Adelaide di Borgogna“ (with CD-recording) and was Il Conte d'Almaviva at the University of Music in Karlsruhe. Cornelius Lewenberg was guest at the Nationaltheater Mannheim where he sang in Lucia Ronchettis „Esame die Mezzanotte“ (2015) and in „Amor“ at the Young Opera of the Nationaltheater Mannheim (2016), apart from that, he sang his first Papageno in a production of the Class Prof. Röhlig in Karlsruhe (2015). At the Stadtheater Pforzheim he was Ottone in L'incoronazione di Poppea“ by Monteverdi, a role, which he also performed at the University of Music in Karlsruhe (2016). Furthermore, he gave concerts with orchestras such as the Baden-Baden Philharmonics and Bern Philharmonics. Since the season 16/17 he is member of the Mecklenburgisches StaatstheaterSchwerin where his perfomences include Herman/Schlemihl in „Hoffmanns Erzählungen“, Harry in „My fair Lady“, Lord Oakleigh in „Anyhing goes“, Ned Keene  in „Peter Grimes“ and Wagner  inGounds „Faust“. Cornelius Lewenberg received scholarships by the Richard-Wagner Society Karlsruhe and bythe Scholarship Foundation of the German People and is awardee of theKulturfonds Baden e.V. and the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg.
