He is educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, Mannes College of Music and the Mediterranean Opera Studio. As a singer, Jonatan has come to profile himself as a character stone. The debut was made in 2007 as Torgny, Dalason and Kantor in the recreated 18th-century work Kronofogdarne & Slåtterölet at Opera på Skäret.
