Biografie: Mezzo soprano Sabine Noack received her Gesangsdiplom at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns
Eisler in her hometown of Berlin, studying under KS R. Hoff and Professor A. Fried, in the Lieder
studios of E. Schneider and W. Rieger, and graduating with honors.
During this time she also participated in Masterclasses with B. Fassbaender, M. Breedt, R. Scotto,
and J. Varady.
Ms. Noack is a scholarship recipient of the International Association of Richard Wagner Societies
and a prize-winner of the 20th International Belvedere Competition.
From 2001-2002 she was a member of the Opera Studio in Marseille and made debuts with
the Orchestre Regional de Cannes, in the Festival d'Avignon and at the Opéra de Marseille.
Between 2003 and 2009 she was engaged as a lyric mezzo at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau,
where she thrilled both the pubic and the press in such roles as Hänsel, Rosina, Zerlina, Purcell's
Dido, Nancy, Mrs.Gross (Britten's Turn of the Screw) and Rose in Weill's Street Scene.
In 2009 she found her new artistic home at the Landestheater Niederbayern, where she has been
seen in the following roles: Bellini's Isoletta (La Straniera) and Romeo; Fidalma; Ruggiero;
Cenerentola; Hänsel; Mozart's Trouser roles, Cherubino, Idamante und Ramiro; Massenet's
Chérubin and Berlioz’ Marguerite; and Ottavia, Penelope and Messagiera/Speranza/ Proserpina in
Passau's acclaimed Monteverdi Trilogy.
Additionally, Ms. Noack displays her versatility as a performer with her successes in musical
theater and concerts and frequently performs in recitals.
Guest engagements have led her to opera theaters in Augsburg, Regensburg, Braunschweig,
Bielefeld, Magdeburg, Halle, and most recently as Cherubino in the Staatstheater Schwerin.
