Biografía
Daniel Holzleitner (born 1994, in Schärding/Upper Austria) is a versatile trombonist, composer and educator and currently lives in Vienna/Austria. Being initially socialized in the austrian marching band scene, Daniel showed interest in various styles of music already from an early age on. After graduating high school he eventually moved to Graz/Austria to study jazz performance, jazz composition and music pedagogy at the "Kunstunversität Graz" (KUG) with his main teachers being Prof. Ed Neumeister (trombone) and Prof. Ed Partyka (composition). After receiving his bachelor degrees in Graz he moved to Vienna/Austria in 2018 to complete his jazz studies at the "Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität Wien (MuK)" and he also started classical trombone studies there with Prof. Mikael Rudolfsson.
