Georgia Mae Ellis is a British Mezzo Soprano who studied for her undergraduate and Master’s degrees at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) under the tutelage of Mary Plazas. She is currently on the Global Talent Programme as a young artist at the National Opera Studio 23/24. She is honoured to say that her time at NOS is being supported by Glyndebourne as one of their New Generation Artists In March and April of this year she covered the role of Ramise in The Jette Parker Artists production of Arminio at The Linbury Theatre at The Royal Opera House. Georgia Mae has recently sung as the mezzo soprano soloist, for a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No.2 “Resurrection” at a sold out Cadogan Hall in London, alongside Amati Orchestra and The London Chorus.
