Féach ar an bhfoireann agus an fhoireannHerdis Anna Jónasdóttir was born in Ísafjörður, Iceland, where she studied piano, violin and singing from an early age. She continued her musical studies, majoring in singing, graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in Reykjavik in 2006, and from the Hanns-Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin from the Konzertexamen program in 2012 where she studied with Prof. Brenda Mitchell, Prof. Julia Varady and Anna Samuil. Herdís Anna joined the IOS, International Opera Studio in Zürich for one year, before getting hired to the State Theater of Saarland in Saarbrücken where she now resides.
