South Korean-born tenor Michael Ha studied singing at Hanyang University in Seoul. He then studied at the State University of Music in Freiburg and at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. In addition, Michael Ha attended master classes with Mietta Sighele, Dame Gwyneth Jones and Neil Shicoff. He received further impulses from the Italian Maestri Gianfranco Cecchele and Mietta Sighele. Michael Ha is a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association. In 2012, Michael Ha received his first engagement as a soloist at the Staatstheater Braunschweig, where he sang a variety of roles, including Rodolfo ( La Bohème ), Nemorino ( L'elisir d'amore ), Tamino ( Die Zauberflöte ), Aquilio ( Farnace ) and Il Duca di Mantova ( Rigoletto ).
