After having started his vocal studies at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, Olivier made his professional début with the Opéra de Montréal at age 16 as Joseph DeRocher’s younger brother in Jake Heggie’s Dead Man Walking . At 18, he made his recital début with the Festival de musique de Lachine alongside Canadian pianist Olivier Godin. Recent performances include the title role in Landi’s “La morte d’Orfeo”, under the direction of Christophe Rousset with Les Talens Lyriques at the Royaumont Abbey, a Schubert recital with Alex Soloway at the Festival de musique de Lachine, a mélodie recital alongside Felicity Lott and François Le Roux at the Salle Cortot in Paris, the title role in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo in a producti
