Путешествие в страну джамблей / Journey to the land of the jumblies

It is a pleasure to retell the plots on which the libretto of the opera by the brother and sister of the Pospelovs is based. For example, two gentlemen met - Fly Zoom-Zoom-Zoom and Komar Dolgonog - and let's complain about life. The mosquito stopped singing because he has too long legs, and Fly no longer goes to the palace because his legs are too short. With a wave of their feet, the gentlemen get into the canoe and swim away to play the bilbock. All stories are drawn from the work of the remarkable 19th century English poet Edward Lear, who became famous for his "meaningless", in other words, "nonsense" verses - limericks.

Directors Vyacheslav Ignatov and Maria Litvinova, directors of many unforgettable performances for family viewing, combine the possibilities of puppetry, shadow, drama and musical genres and create the atmosphere of a cozy home theater, where it is simply said about the important. For the performance, the format, beloved by the Perm audience, was chosen - an opera in the foyer. At the entrance, Grandpa Lear invites everyone on a journey through the fabulous "Land of Nonsense", where children have the opportunity not only to listen, but also to sing and play musical instruments together with the heroes of the play.
