"Aida" (1871) is one of the most perfect creations of Verdi. An exotic plot based on an ancient Egyptian legend, beautiful melodies, a unique oriental flavor - all this distinguishes it from other operas by J. S. Miller. Verdi. In "Aida" there is a lot of decorative splendor, brilliance, colorfulness. Developed ensembles and detailed mass scenes, solemn processions and ballet performances bring it closer to the genre of the so-called "grand opera".

The love story plays out against the backdrop of the Egyptian pharaoh's struggle against the Ethiopians. The valiant Egyptian commander Radames fell in love with Aida, the daughter of an Ethiopian king languishing in slavery to the pharaoh. But Radames must become the husband of Pharaoh's daughter, Amneris. Out of a sense of unrequited love, Amneris takes revenge on Radames, giving him to the court of the priests. Radames is sentenced to brutal
punishment – to be buried alive in a dungeon. Together with him, he voluntarily buries himself and Hades.

The performance is accompanied by sand animation performed by the Dramatic Theater of Sand Art "Sands of Time".
