A rarity awaits the country's music lovers: Carl Orff's rousing monumental work Carmina Burana will be performed on June 25th in Rostock and on June 26th, 2022 in Wismar as the largest sing-along project in the country.
Carmina Burana was premiered in Frankfurt / Main in 1937. Carl Orff has processed 24 medieval songs into a choral work. The Latin and Middle High German songs sing about spring, sociability and love.
