The human boy Mowgli loses his parents and grows up with wolves in the jungle, who save him from the tiger Shere Khan. Baloo the bear becomes his teacher and initiates him into the laws of the jungle, aided by Bagheera the panther. But Shere Khan doesn't tolerate people in the jungle. He wants to convince the wolves that Mowgli isn't one of them and they need to expel him from their community. Will Mowgli leave the jungle and find his place among humans?

The Italian cellist Giovanni Sollima is a musically free-spirited crosser between all styles and a versatile composer for all genres, from chamber music to large orchestral and theater works.
