Die Lage ist ernst: Um die Welt steht es schlecht und die Menschen scheinen nichts auf die Reihe zu kriegen. Die Ozeane sind voller Plastik, die Regenwälder werden abgeholzt. Immer mehr Tiere flüchten sich aus ihren zerstörten Lebensräumen ins Theater. Dass das nicht lange gutgehen kann, ist klar. Der Waschbär fühlt sich vom lauten Getrommel des Spechtes gestört. Die Eintags­fliege dreht die Heizung zu sehr auf, die blöde Kuh müsste dringend mal gemolken werden und der Häsin hat irgendwer die Möhren weggefressen… Und überhaupt: Wäre es nicht viel schöner, wieder draußen in der Natur zu leben? Kurzerhand gründen die Tiere ein Parlament, um die Situation in den Griff zu bekommen. Doch schon bald stellt sich heraus, dass es gar nicht so leicht ist, politisch zu handeln, aufeinander zu hören und sich dabei auch noch zu verstehen. Da helfen auch die besten Absichten nichts. Und was ist das eigentlich: das Gute?

In musikalischen Szenen voll schriller Vögel und ein­sichtiger Rindviecher erkundet dieses Musiktheater für Kinder ab 8 Jahren die Schwierigkeiten der Tiere bei ihrem Versuch, die Welt zu verbessern. Da zwitschert, brüllt, paukt und trötet es durcheinander. Doch in dem bunten Zusammenklang ahnt man schließlich auch, was alle verbindet: die Hoffnung auf eine lebenswerte Zukunft.

The situation is serious: the world is in bad shape and people don't seem to be able to do anything. The oceans are full of plastic, the rainforests are being cut down. More and more animals are fleeing from their destroyed habitats to the theater. It is clear that this cannot last long. The raccoon is disturbed by the loud drumming of the woodpecker. The mayfly turns up the heating too much, the stupid cow urgently needs to be milked and someone has eaten the carrots of the rabbit... And anyway: Wouldn't it be much nicer to live outside in nature again? Without further ado, the animals set up a parliament to get the situation under control. But it soon turns out that it is not that easy to act politically, to listen to one another and at the same time to understand one another. Even the best intentions don't help. And what is that actually: the good?

In musical scenes full of shrill birds and insightful cattle, this music theater for children aged 8 and over explores the difficulties of animals in their attempt to make the world a better place. There is chirping, roaring, cramming and blasting all over the place. But in the colorful harmony one finally senses what unites everyone: the hope for a future worth living.
