 Solo evening after the operetta by Johann Strauss 

 "Happy is the one who forgets what cannot be changed" is what is said in the most famous operetta by Johann Strauss: "Die Fledermaus". However, Rosalinde has not forgotten that fateful masquerade ball at which her husband Gabriel von Eisenstein wanted to seduce his disguised and therefore unrecognized wife. Now she got it serious and filed for divorce. Eisenstein has to watch how he might still be able to save the house blessing - but does he even want that? 
 The subtitle is the program of this solo evening: Alexander Günther gives all the roles in the continuation of the boozy night, in which the bourgeois morality of the late 19th century is illuminated. The emotional processing of a separation, in its stages from despair, defiance and arrogance to forging plans for revenge, remains as relevant as ever.

"Happy is the one who forgets what cannot be changed" is the motto in what is probably the most famous operetta by Johann Strauss. Unfortunately, however, Rosalinde has not forgotten what happened on that fateful night at Prince Orlofsky's. Back when Eisenstein, disguised as Marquis Renard, wanted to seduce his wife, who was also disguised and whom he had not recognized for precisely this reason. And although there was plenty of bubbly flowing down the thirsty throats at the time, Rosalinde got serious and filed for divorce. Now Mr. von Eisenstein has to watch how he might still be able to save the house blessing - but does he even want that?

Michael Dissmeier and Alexander Günther imagine a continuation of the boozy night and shed light on the bourgeois morality of the late 19th century. The masquerade that has begun in this famous comedy of confusion is being shot even further, with Alexander Günther himself slipping into all the roles. Of course, the audience will be spoiled with all the well-known melodies of the operetta. After many years as head dramaturge at the DNT Weimar and his staging of Ludger Vollmer's "Run Lola Run" in 2015, Michael Dissmeier is now returning to our theater with this heartfelt project.
