After the successful production of Rossini's "Barbier von SevilLahr", another production of the fresh air and music festival in Ortenau will follow this year in cooperation with Zukunft Kultur e.V. and the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra.
Lahr becomes Windsor, the Schutter becomes the Thames - the women remain witty.
After Giuseppe Verdi's performance, Shakespeare's Falstaff material now comes in the guise of Otto Nicolai in a funny, pleasing and entertaining form.
The voracious John Falstaff makes a fool of himself once again and the "Women's List" convicts the philanderer while the young couple Fenton and Anna Reich melt with love and romantic melodies.With
the participation of Lahrer:innen, the citizen opera is translated into the city in the Black Forest.
The renowned conductor Michael Güttler leads the orchestra to the highest Philharmonic level. Magdalena Weingut staged with "joke and cheerfulness" (Mrs. Fluth quote from the opera) and Julia Kolev and Heinz Driver are congenially responsible for the stage design. Christoph Seidl (Gärtnerplatztheater Munich and Altotheater Essen) makes his Falstaff debut, his wife Iva Seidl shines as Anna Reich.
