After Un Elixir d'Amour after Donizetti and Un Rigoletto after Verdi, we continue our participatory opera cycle for young audiences with Une Cenerentola, a new adaptation of one of the most famous works of the Italian repertoire. Director Daniele Menghini has chosen to set the story of Don Magnifico and his three daughters in a Hôtel des Songes where, after having been mistreated by her half-sisters, Angelica will experience a princely destiny. Beyond the framework of the tale of the Grimm brothers and the opera that Rossini will draw from it, it is also a question here of social differences and benevolence. Like what fairy tales can also be in real touch with our time.

Après Un Elixir d’Amour d’après Donizetti et Un Rigoletto d’après Verdi, nous poursuivons notre cycle d’opéra participatif pour le jeune public avec Une Cenerentola, une nouvelle adaptation de l’un des ouvrages les plus célèbres du répertoire italien. Le metteur en scène Daniele Menghini a choisi d’installer l’histoire de Don Magnifico et ses trois filles dans un hôtel des Songes où après avoir été maltraitée par ses demi-sœurs, Angelica connaîtra un destin princier. Au-delà de la trame du conte des frères Grimm et l’opéra qu’en tirera Rossini, il est aussi question ici de différences sociales et de bienveillance. Comme quoi les contes de fées peuvent aussi être en prise réelle avec notre époque.
