The new music festival KALIT - under the artistic direction of Wolfgang Katscher and Christian Filips - is dedicated to a different theme every year that is closely interwoven with the history of the Friedenfelde manor house. The music days are named after the Kalit, a special wicker basket that is traditionally made in the Uckermark and interweaves tradition and the present. This is also the claim of the music festival and the lautten compagney BERLIN as the ensemble in residence.

Das neue Musikfestival KALIT – unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Wolfgang Katscher und Christian Filips – widmet sich jedes Jahr einem anderen Thema, das eng mit der Geschichte des Gutshauses Friedenfelde verwoben ist. Benannt sind die Musiktage nach dem Kalit, einem speziellen Flechtkorb, der traditionell in der Uckermark hergestellt wird und Tradition und Gegenwart miteinander verwebt. Dies ist auch der Anspruch des Musikfestivals und der lautten compagney BERLIN als dem Ensemble in Residence.
