Two youth orchestras, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall Youth Symphony Orchestra - MOYSA and El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra, as well as the Youth Choir of the Association of Friends of Music of Thessaloniki, collaborated in a unique concert at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall on June 7, 2019.

Με οδηγό το σύστημα εκμάθησης που γεννήθηκε στη Λατινική Αμερική και άλλαξε το χάρτη στη συμφωνική μουσική εκπαίδευση παγκοσμίως και προσαρμοσμένο στην ελληνική κοινωνική πραγματικότητα, το El Sistema Greece (ESG) χρησιμοποιεί τη μουσική ως εργαλείο κοινωνικής ένταξης και ενδυνάμωσης της προσωπικότητας των παιδιών, προσφέροντας δωρεάν μαθήματα μουσικής σε παιδιά και νέους ανεξαρτήτως καταγωγής, γλώσσας και θρησκείας. Στόχος του προγράμματος είναι η δημιουργία μιας κοινότητας με πυρήνα τη μουσική, χωρίς διακρίσεις και αποκλεισμούς. Η El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra (ESGYO) είναι μία τέτοια κοινότητα όπου παιδιά και νέοι από διαφορετικά περιβάλλοντα αλληλεπιδρούν και συνεργάζονται, παίζοντας μουσική.
H Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης MOYSA και η Νεανική Χορωδία του Συλλόγου Φίλων Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης υποδέχονται την ESGYO σε μία κοινή εμφάνιση με γνωστά έργα του κλασικού ρεπερτορίου αλλά και εμβληματικές συνθέσεις που έγιναν γνωστές μέσα από τις ορχήστρες και τους καλλιτέχνες που σημάδεψαν το El Sistema.

Guided by the learning system that was born in Latin America and changed the map of symphonic music education worldwide and adapted to the Greek social reality, El Sistema Greece (ESG) uses music as a tool for social inclusion and strengthening the personality of children, offering free lessons music to children and young people regardless of origin, language and religion. The goal of the program is to create a community with music at its core, without discrimination and exclusion. El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra (ESGYO) is one such community where children and young people from different backgrounds interact and collaborate, playing music.
The Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Music Hall MOYSA and the Youth Choir of the Friends of Music Association of Thessaloniki welcome ESGYO in a joint performance with well-known works of the classical repertoire as well as emblematic compositions made famous through the orchestras and artists who marked El Sistema .
