​The magnificent Lebanese singer Magida El Roumi originally brought her phenomenal voice to the Muscat stage during our inaugural season; she is one of the most respected vocal talents in the Arabic world and it is a delight to have her return. El Roumi is a daughter of Lebanon, and the child of an artistic family that raised her amid music and poetry. Her profound sense of optimism and grace has infused her singing through many phases: from her first hit, “Am Behlamak Ya Helm Ya Lebnan” (“I Am Dreaming of You, oh Dream, Lebanon”) through to the wide success of her 2012 album, Ghazal.​
