French harpsichordist Jean Rondeau will perform at Prague Spring for the first time this year. And that at two concerts. After the solo recital, he will join forces with members of the Nevermind ensemble to present a program of German Baroque music together.

He founded Nevermind Rondeau ten years ago together with other young musicians out of love for chamber music of the 17th and 18th centuries. Since then, Nevermind has ranked alongside the most respected chamber ensembles focused on historically informed interpretation of early music.

Johann Sebastian's chamber music will take center stage at the Prague concert. Bach. The program will open with the Prelude, Fugue and Postlude in G minor by the organist and composer Georg Böhm, whose music influenced the music of the young Bach, and it will be completed by a sample of the work of Bach's younger companion, the Essen native Philipp Heinrich Erlebach.

Francouzský cembalista Jean Rondeau letos poprvé vystoupí na Pražském jaru. A to hned na dvou koncertech. Po sólovém recitálu se spojí s členy souboru Nevermind, aby společně uvedli program z hudby německého baroka.

Soubor Nevermind Rondeau založil před deseti lety spolu s dalšími mladými hudebníky z lásky ke komorní hudbě 17. a 18. století. Nevermind se od té doby zařadil po bok nejuznávanějších komorních těles zaměřených na historicky poučenou interpretaci staré hudby.

Ústřední místo na pražskojarním koncertě zaujme komorní hudba Johanna Sebastiana. Bacha. Program otevře Preludium, fuga a postludium g moll varhaníka a skladatele Goerga Böhma, jehož hudba ovlivnila hudbu mladého Bacha, a doplní jej ukázka z tvorby Bachova mladšího souputníka, essenského rodáka Philippa Heinricha Erlebacha.
