Nieznane Polskie Arie I Pieśni Doby Romantyzmu
Oratorio / Orquestal
BALLADY AND ROMANCE ... ... and many other music and vocal forms we offer you in the Year of Polish Romanticism in our series Not only opera - concerts on the Chamber Stage. Music soothes the savage- said Jerzy Waldorff - a legend of Polish musical life, and due to the fact that music accompanies us every day, we do not wonder if and what influence it has on us - it certainly does! She can surprise us with her sounds, put us in a good mood, let us forget what we do not want to remember, make us smile sincerely, although tears of emotion also happen to accompany her sounds. There are artists - music performers and interpreters - who, with their sensitivity and talent, are able to give music that "something" without which it would be just a regular sheet music. This year's musical, vocal, stylistic and interpretative diversity is offered to you on the Chamber Stage, where you will hear: music by outstanding Polish composers of various periods, including Ignacy Paderewski and Stanisław Moniuszko, unknown arias and songs from the Romantic era; Adam Mickiewicz himself will also appear in music. Among the performers - a group of our excellent soloists, singers and musicians, whom you know perfectly well from the stage creations - operas, operettas and musicals - created on the stage of the Grand Theater in Łódź: Bernadetta Grabias, Agnieszka Makówka, Dorota Wójcik, Grzegorz Szostak, Robert Ulatowski and musicians: Taras Hlushko, Agnieszka Kołodziej, Agnieszka Przybylska, Marcin Werner. There will also be invited guests, they will be, among others Weronika Leśniewska and Szymon Mechliński - artists known not only from Polish opera stages. In the first concert of this series, we will see and hear Szymon Mechliński with the accompaniment of a piano by Michał Biel . This young, extremely talented and award-winning baritone has already performed on major European opera stages, incl. Opera de Lyon, Opera de Toulon, Dorset Opera Festival, Theater Dortmund and most of the Polish opera houses. Apart from his passion for singing, he has another one - he discovers unknown Polish opera composers and their works, which he tries to remind his audience. And it is precisely such a concert that we invite you to " Unknown Polish arias and songs of the Romantic era", and we will hear compositions by Henryk Skirmut, Franciszek Mirecki, Jan Skrzydlewski, Henryk Jarecki and other forgotten Polish composers. We invite you - it will be intimate, romantic and ... romantic!
