Two recent chamber operas are dedicated to different forms of futuristic women's rule: in Thierry Tidrow's "Protheses of Autonomy" for mezzo-soprano and instrumental ensemble we find ourselves in a "post-utopian matriarchy"; Operas are now only performed by robots to protect singers from the emotionally draining work of empathy. And in Christofer Elgh's "Valerie's Voice" for soprano and 4 electric guitars, the "biological catastrophe" Mann is summarily abolished.

Zwei Kammeropern der letzten Jahre widmen sich unterschiedlichen Formen einer futuristischen Frauenherrschaft: In Thierry Tidrows „Prothesen der Autonomie“ für Mezzosopran und Instrumentalensemble befinden wir uns in einem „post-utopischen Matriarchat“; Opern werden nur noch von Robotern dargeboten, um Sänger:innen vor der emotional belastenden Arbeit der Einfühlung zu schützen. Und in Christofer Elghs „Valerie’s Voice“ für Sopran und 4 E-Gitarren wird die „biologische Katastrophe“ Mann kurzerhand abgeschafft.
