In this concert we begin with Beamish’s Night Songs, followed by two glorious night-inspired songs from Debussy and Dvořák and transition from night to day via Beamish’s Bridging the Day. Following that, we have the World Premier performance of William Barton’s 2023 AFCM Commission and don’t we all love Beamish’s Guilty Pleasure, Cole Porter’s Night and Day?
