Récital lyrique - Père et Fils: The Creatures of Prometheus, op. 43 Beethoven (+11 More)

De quels matériaux sont tissés les liens familiaux ? Comment se passent les flambeaux et se perpétuent les filiations ? Autour de ces belles questions sont réunis deux grands ténors, qui se trouvent être père et fils : Christoph et Julian Prégardien. Ensemble, ils ont choisi des lieder de Beethoven et Schubert, réarrangés pour l’occasion par la compositrice Clara Olivares, et auxquels feront écho des textes et poèmes, tandis que Lars Vogt dirigera l’orchestre et accompagnera au piano les chanteurs. Un dispositif auquel s’ajoute, selon Christoph Prégardien, une mesure de facétie : « Avec Julian, nous jouons autour du fait que, tout au long de la soirée, le public ne sait plus qui chante quoi. »

What materials are woven into family ties? How are the torches passed and the filiations perpetuated? Around these beautiful questions are gathered two great tenors, who happen to be father and son: Christoph and Julian Prégardien. Together, they have chosen lieder by Beethoven and Schubert, rearranged for the occasion by composer Clara Olivares, and to which texts and poems will echo, while Lars Vogt will conduct the orchestra and accompany the singers on the piano. A device to which is added, according to Christoph Prégardien, a measure of facetiousness: “With Julian, we play around the fact that, throughout the evening, the public no longer knows who is singing what. »
