Und die sinfonischen Stürme der Dritten – über deren Entstehung hingegen kaum etwas bekannt ist – lösen sich in einem fast schon meditativen Schluss glücklich auf.

All four! As part of a two-day guest performance, Sir John Eliot Gardiner will be celebrating the symphonies of Johannes Brahms on two evenings.
