Träume kitzeln unsere Sinne. Sie amüsieren und inspirieren uns. Und sie lassen das Unmögliche auf einmal kinderleicht erscheinen.

Anlässlich ihres 20-jährigen Bühnenjubiläums führen Salut Salon furios und verzaubernd durch musikalische Traumwelten zwischen Illusion und Wirklichkeit. Bereits mit ihrem fulminanten Auftakt, dem „Tango del Diablo“ von Astor Piazzolla, lassen Angelika Bachmann (Geige), Meta Hüper (Geige), Heike Schuch (Cello) und Olga Shkrygunova (Piano) erahnen, wie vielfältig Träume klingen können: turbulent und verstörend, zart und sehnsuchtsvoll. Das Quartett lustwandelt mit absolut mitreißender Dynamik durch die Emotionen und nutzt die Instrumente nicht nur in klassischer Perfektion, sondern auch tollkühn und einfallsreich als Klangwerkzeuge und künstlerische Komplizen. Geigen, Cello und Piano werden beklopft, bearbeitet und betanzt. Die Instrumente ertönen derart impulsiv und einfühlsam, als seien sie selbstständige Charaktere, die ihre ganz eigenen Geschichten zu erzählen haben: Von Überschwang und Liebe, von der Flüchtigkeit der Zeit und den Utopien, die wir gerade jetzt besonders dringend brauchen.

In „Träume“ erwecken Salut Salon allerlei magische Wesen und märchenhafte Gestalten zum Leben. Sie treiben ihren Schabernack, regen zum Nachdenken an und befeuern die Imagination. Lässig groovend werden die Hexen in Donovans „Season of the Witch“ beschworen. Wild fliegen sie umher in Bartholdys „Walpurgisnacht“. Und mit betörender Finesse rechnen sie sich durch Goethes „Hexeneinmaleins“. Düster treibt wiederum der Teufel in Prokofjews „Diabolische Einflüsterung“ sein Unwesen. Und mit der Filmmusik zu „Harry Potter“ geht es mitten hinein in die Geheimnisse von Hogwarts. Salut Salon kennen beim Träumen keine Grenzen: Da strotzt eine jiddische Nummer nur so vor Tanzlust, Lebensfreude und Freiheitswillen. Und das Wiegenlied „Nana“ des georgischen Komponisten Sulchan Zinzadse zieht sanft an der Seele, wenn eine Mutter und ihr Kind davon träumen, in ihre Heimat zurückkehren zu dürfen.

Ob Vivaldi, Brahms, Tschaikowsky oder Dukas: Salut Salon interpretieren die Werke herrlich eigensinnig und mit berauschender Spielfreude. Das Quartett erstaunt sein Publikum mit Verbalakrobatik und Slapstick, mit Stepptanz und einer singenden Säge. Und mit allerlei verblüffenden Effekten: Da springt ein leuchtender Funke ganz real von einer Musikerin zur nächsten über, es schneit auf der Bühne wie in einem Märchenwald. Und wenn es besonders schnell und leidenschaftlich wird, brennt sogar der Cellobogen. Nicht zu vergessen die Puppe Oskar, der die Pianistin Olga mit seinen urkomischen Zauberkunststücken in den Wahnsinn treibt. Immer wieder stimmen die Musikerinnen in mehrstimmigen Gesang ein, so anrührend wie euphorisierend. „Träume“ ist eine Show voller Poesie, die sie der Welt wunderbar abgelauscht haben. Unterhaltung mit Anspruch und Augenzwinkern, die das Publikum beseelt und beschwingt. Und die aufs Schönste dazu anregt, seinen eigenen Träumen zu folgen.

The witches in Donovan's "Season of the Witch" are conjured up in a casually grooving manner. They fly around wildly in Bartholdy's "Walpurgis Night". And with beguiling finesse, they count through Goethe's "Hexeneinmaleins". The devil, on the other hand, is up to mischief in Prokofiev's "Diabolical Insinuation". And with the film music for "Harry Potter" it goes right into the mysteries of Hogwarts. Salut Salon knows no bounds when it comes to dreaming: a Yiddish number is bursting with the desire to dance, joie de vivre and the will to be free. Again and again the musicians join in polyphonic singing, as touching as it is euphoric. "Dreams" is a show full of poetry that they have wonderfully overheard from the world.
