He was one of the most noted child prodigies of recent decades, giving his first concerts at the age of 11, and subsequently distinguished himself in the most famous competitions, including the Géza Anda Competition. Alongside Jean-Philippe Rameau, of whom he delivers a reading at the piano that is both modern and "historically informed" ,  Sergey Tanin approaches the great romantic repertoire with this same balance and the chiaroscuro   of Schubert 's famous Wanderer-Fantaisie . . As for the  Sonata in B minor  by Liszt, Himalaya of literature for piano, it will sparkle while singing, constructed but sensitive, controlled but tumultuous.
