Erich Wolfgang Korngold's career peaked during his time working for Hollywood studios. The violin concerto he wrote for Warner Bros. dates from this late period. This nostalgic, almost cinematographic concerto is a nod to the films in which the composer has collaborated. These and many other extraordinary works are presented during the Brussels Philharmonic's tribute to North and South American music.
