The opera in the quarry of St. Margarethen has an international star cast this year. "Floria Tosca" is one of the parade roles of the versatile soprano Martina Serafin, whose wonderful voice has recently been heard in all the major opera houses in the world. The international singers hired by the new director of the opera, Maren Hofmeister, promise vocal quality at the highest level. The leading team responsible for the production will also ensure an unforgettable opera evening. The staging comes from director Robert Dornhelm. His work also guarantees a special kind of visual and theatrical pleasure this year. Michael Güttler, chief conductor of the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, is in charge of the musical direction.
