A regular guest at the RCM, Edith Wiens always inspires students with her wealth of experience and interpretive skill. Edith’s regular collaborations with the world’s major orchestras has involved working with such conductors as Sir Georg Solti (HonFRCM), Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Seiji Ozawa.

A Mozart specialist, Edith launched her opera career as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at Glyndebourne with Bernard Haitink. She has dazzled audiences the world over with her presence on the concert platform, and has given recitals at Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Musikverein Vienna. Her recordings have been greeted with widespread acclaim, including Grammy and Diapason d’Or Awards.
