Dresden and baroque music go together about as closely as the Dresdner Kreuzchor and our orchestra. And so the two have joined forces to open the Dresden City Festival with excerpts from baroque works. As always, open air on the Schlossplatz. And "with timpani and trumpets", as befits the festive occasion!

Dresden und Barock, das gehört ungefähr so eng zusammen wie der Dresdner Kreuzchor und unser Orchester. Und so haben sich beide zusammengetan um mit Ausschnitten aus barocken Werken gemeinsam das Dresdner Stadtfest zu eröffnen. Wie immer open air auf dem Schlossplatz. Und "mit Pauken und Trompeten", wie es sich für den festlichen Anlass gehört!
