Once again, Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil (OSJ) returns to Teatro São Luiz, where it debuted 47 years ago and where it has performed dozens of times, playing some of the most important repertoires of its career. In this season's concert, it is directed by conductor Christopher Bochmann, in a program that includes compositions by Francisco de Lacerda, Mozart, Bochmann and Haydn.

Over the last few decades, OSJ has trained many of the current instrumentalists of our orchestras, has made many young soloists known to the public and has taken its action in favor of musical culture throughout the country. It is, therefore, recognized as a fundamental institution in our musical-pedagogical panorama, being the only youth symphony orchestra with permanent activity, playing a central role in the training of musicians, in a perspective of high-level improvement and professionalization.
