Productions directed by Rachel include La Voix Humaine and La Traviata for Opera Australia, Queen Lear for Melbourne Theatre Company, The Pianist for Belvoir/Sydney Festival, The Taming of the Shrew for Sydney Theatre Company, The Magic Flute for West Australian Opera and Rusalka for Perth Festival. Rachel was the first Artistic Director at Freeze Frame Opera where she directed La Boheme, Pagliacci, Tosca, and Angels and Devils. Writing credits include Haydn Speaks for Australian Haydn Ensemble, Truckorama for Freeze Frame Opera, several projects for MusicaViva and the musical Susanna’s Wedding, an adaptation of Le Nozze di Figaro.
