Helsinki, FinlandThe Finnish Lyric Dramatic Soprano Reetta Haavisto is known for her beautifully sonorous voice with it’s buoyant, luminous tone. In the spring of 2011 Reetta Haavisto made her debut at the Finnish National Opera in the role of Madama Cortese in Il viaggio a Reims. Season (2013-2014) she appeared in performances of Don Pasquale (Norina) and in Turandot (Liù) at the Finnish National Opera. In December 2014 she sung as the soprano soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. In the summer 2014 Reetta Haavisto made her debut at Savonlinna Opera Festival in the novel production of the Aulis Sallinen’s Kullervo (Sister). In May 2015 she will appear as a soprano soloist in the J. Sibelius’ Kullervo symphony in Bern with maestro Dima Slobodeniouk and baritone Tommi Ha
