3The character of Elisa de Montellano was played by Ruth Iniesta, who with a deep timbre was able to captivate the audience, receiving great ovations at the end of her performance despite not having a great romance. The same could be said of the rest of the singers Fernando Latorre and Marifé Nogales, whose performances in duos and concert performers contributed great quality to a performance characterized by the rhythm, inspiration and vivacity of the best Barbieri.
