Sergey has been studying privately with Vaguif Kerimov, a former soloist of La Scala di Milano Theatre, for over 10 years. They have frequently appeared on stage together, including “Summer’s Bloom Concert” at the Glenn Gould Studio, in 2014. Moreover, Sergey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, where he majored in Theatre Studies. His operatic career begun in 2012 with Toronto Academy for Performing Arts, under professional guidance of Mary Liu.
