She graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon and then continued to perfect herself in the Opera Studio 'Young voices of the Rhine, Atelier Lyrique' within the National Opera of Strasbourg. At the international singing competition 2001 Hans Gabor Belvedere In Vienna, she was awarded with the Prize of the Theatre Directors. Five years later, she was nominated for the prize of 'Young artist of the Year' in the magazine 'Opernwelt'. In 2008, she received a scholarship from the Bayreuth Festival for young Wagnerian singers. Yaroslava Kozina performs her first steps on stage at the National Opera in Strasbourg before she was hired in the troop of the Opera in Bremen.
