6Безусловные удачи кастинга спектакля связаны с двумя приглашенными артистами. Солист московского театра «Новая Опера» Алексей Богданчиков в титульной партии стал гвоздем спектакля, подарив яркие впечатления убедительностью в образе, благородным звучанием голоса в лирических фрагментах и контролируемой уверенностью в ариозо шестой картины, где требуется большой звук.
Il baritono Alexey Bogdanchikov è il vincitore del 57esimo concorso internazionale Voci Verdiane Città di Busseto, indetto dal Comune di Busseto e realizzato sotto l’alto patronato del presidente della Repubblica, in onore e memoria di Carlo Bergonzi, presieduto da Giancarlo Contini, sindaco di Busseto, e organizzato dal Teatro Regio di Parma. Insieme a lui sono stati premiati i soprani Wenmeng Gu, al secondo posto, che ha ricevuto anche il premio come miglior voce femminile, e Chiara Mogini al terzo posto. Ai vincitori e ai finalisti del concorso, oltre ai premi in denaro, potranno essere affidati i ruoli di Aida, Radames, Amonasro, Amneris, Ramfis, il Re, Un Messaggero, Una Sacerdotessa dall’opera Aida di Giuseppe Verdi, che nell’ambito del Festival Verdi 2019 sarà in scena al Teatro Giuseppe Verdi di Busseto.

If we leave out of the scope of discussion a certain oversaturation of the performance with unusually realistic battle scenes, then the New Opera can be congratulated on an interesting production. "Romeo and Juliet" by Arnaud Bernard not only follows the author's intention and relies on the director's concept built into the author's context, but is also saturated with elements of modern staging language: the scenography is metaphorically laconic, the action is dynamic, and the role drawings are quite complex. With the proper level of performance, which the Novaya Opera is able to provide, the performance can be called one of the best works of the theater and will be popular with the public for many years to come.
