Bassbaritone Andreas Drescher was born in Offenbach am Main in 1987. He studied in Mainz with Hans Christoph Begemann and with KS Prof. Roland Schubert in Leipzig. He also participated in master classes with Claudia Eder, Anne Lünenbürger, Stephan Kohlenberg and Melanie Sonnenberg. Besides his many concert performances, in which he has sung major oratorio-works, he has been a guest-soloist in Koblenz, Altenburg-Gera, Mainz, Frankfurt and Chemnitz. Andreas has sung the roles of Baculus (A. Lortzing - "Der Wildschütz"), Don Alfonso (W.A. Mozart - "Così fan tutte"), Leporello (W.A. Mozart - "Don Giovanni") Don Basilio (G. Rossini - "Il barbiere di siviglia"), Buonafede (J. Haydn - "Il Mondo della luna"), Notar/ Kommissar (R. Strauss - "Der Rosenkavalier") and il Re (G. Verdi - "Aida"). He ha
