BAYREUTH BAROQUE OPERA FESTIVAL IN THE MARGRAVIAL OPERA HOUSE
In September 2020 the International Festival of Opera Seria Bayreuth Baroque debuted in the Margravial Opera House Bayreuth. The theatre of Wilhelmine of  Bayreuth, which opened in 1748, was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in 2012 and reopened in 2018 after a renovation. The performance of baroque opera serias at the original location awakens one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world from a museum sleep and allows you to experience its epoch in a sensual way.
Bayreuth Baroque takes place in September. Artistic Director is Max Emanuel Cencic, countertenor, director and producer. Creative Producer is Georg Lang, Executive Director is Dr. Clemens Lukas.
