American soprano Erin O’Meally, a recent transplant from San Francisco, California, to Berlin, Germany, is praised for her "delightfully operatic lyric soprano” and her “lovely expressive face”, and for being “irresistibly charming” (The Independent) both nationally and internationally.
Ms. O’Meally rapidly established herself as a beloved and compelling performer while in the San Francisco Bay Area. During the 2019-2020 season, she was featured in West Edge Opera’s bold production of Threepenny Opera directed by Elkahnah Pulitzer. As Lucy Brown, the proud, jilted lover of Macheath, she “played a good comic foil,” and “gave an energetic, convincing, and satisfying performance.” (Opera Wire) Throughout the season, she held a soprano AGMA position with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
